Manufacture of Milk-Curdling Enzyme Preparations

SHAKO LLC was established in 2000. Leonid Shabunin and his partner Valery Kolesnikov rented and rebuilt a land plot at the Bataysk meat processing plant, launching the production of animal milk-curdling enzymes and semi-finished products (lidase and dry fel) for the pharmaceutical industry. By 2001, they launched the first line of products. Leonid, with his tireless energy, resourcefulness, and expertise (he is a mechanical engineer by training, a graduate of the Rostov Institute of Agricultural Machinery, and was chief of mechanical services at the Rostov Meat Processing Plant) equipped the production facility with modern, mainly imported equipment purchased from various biotech firms in the in the region. That included Czech-made RM-3000 grinders that can grind the gastric mucosa of cattle at low temperatures (which prevents the loss of the enzyme); high-performance K010006 separators from Westphalia; the German TG-50 sublimation unit; the NX314S-31E Alfa Laval Decanter for separating the solid protein fraction (used as animal feed ) from the liquid phase (waste); and the Russian-made top-performance UVV-1000 purifier for highly purified water. The freeze-drying of the preparations is computerized. Chemical and bacteriological control is conducted to ensure full complicance with standards and requirements. Since December 2018, Shako LLC has been led by Alexey Shabunin. Our company operates in the village of Rassvet, Aksaysky district.
